Psychological Therapy (Psychotherapy)
To be known and understood by another person is a rare experience. Just as rare is finding someone prepared to listen to us without judgement, without making premature assumptions about us, or applying solutions before having heard us fully.
What if such an experience were available to us? What difference might it make? Potentially, a great deal of difference; even better if we can then go on to rise above our difficulties, be supported to put them into perspective, and permit new possibilities to arise. Psychological therapy offers this possibility.

Student and Professional Supervision
Whether a student, or a professional in the workplace (or private practice), supervision can be used not just to meet institutional or membership requirements, but perhaps even more importantly as a source of support, ongoing learning, and a way of infusing one’s efforts with energy and enthusiasm.
There are various models of supervision commonly used with psychotherapists and psychologists, but these are sometimes used too prescriptively and prove to frustrate rather than promote the most important elements of supervision.

Support for Providers of Pastoral Care
Providing support to ministers and pastoral workers – especially those of different denominations, requires familiarity with different theological perspectives, experience of pastoral ministry, and being aware of the range of challenges and demands of the pastoral role.
Support will sometimes take the form of accompaniment through a personal crisis, help in navigating an ethical dilemma, or more frequently tackling various presenting issues of parishioners that are complex, and which often involve psychological difficulties and mental health concerns.
